“China Famous Cooking Master,” “Fujian Cuisine Master”
He was born in July 1958 in a family of renowned chefs. His father Qiang Mugen and his uncle Qiang Ququ were both recognized as “National Best Chefs,” and widely celebrated as the two masters of Fujian cuisine;
In 1988, he won the Gold Medal for Hot Dishes at the Second National Culinary Competition;
In 1996, he and his father, Qiang Mugen, were invited to the “1996 Taipei Chinese Food Festival,” where they won a Team Gold Medal;
In 1999, he participated in the Fourth National Culinary Competition as both a team leader and a competitor, winning two gold medals in the team and banquet competitions;
In 2015, he was honored with the title of “Senior Registered Chinese Cooking Master;”
He currently serves as the President of the Fujian Province Fujian Cuisine Skill Research Association and the Chairman of the Famous Chef Committee of the Fuzhou Catering and Cooking Industry Association.
