In 1979, as a member of the Fujian provincial delegation, he went to Hong Kong to showcase the preparation of Fujian’s signature dish, “Fotiaoqiang;”

In 1988, he won the “Gold Award” at the National Culinary Competition;

In 1990, he madeFotiaoqiang atthe National Famous and ExcellentProduct Competition, andreceived the “Golden Tripod Award”from the Ministry of Labor of the People’s Republic of China;

In 1994,as a member of the Fujian provincial delegation, he went toJapanto showcase Fujiancuisine;

In 1996, he obtained the title of“National Technical Expert;”

In 1996, he performed in France and wonthe “World Blue Ribbon Gold Medal.”
