In 2002, his dish “Fotiaoqiang” was honored as a “Chinese Famous Banquet” at the 12th China Chef Festival, and he received the “Golden Chef Award”for Individuals;

In 2006, he was recognized as one of the “Top Ten Chefs of Fujian Province” by the Fujian Provincial Economic and Trade Commission and received the “Golden Goblet Awardfor Chinese Cooking Master”from the China Cuisine Association;

In 2009, he was honored as the “Representative Inheritor of theJuchunyuan Fotiaoqiang Making Technique,” a National Intangible Cultural Heritage;

In 2009, he received the “Chinese Culinary Excellence Award”from the China Hospitality Association;

In 2009, he was named one of“Fuzhou’s First Group ofChief Senior Technicians” by the Fuzhou Municipal Government;
