In 2001, he won the Gold Award in the Famous Dishes and Snacks Competition at the First Fuzhou Food Festival;

In 2004, his creations Peony Butterfly Abalone, Rainbow Golden Shrimp Legs, and Juchun Ancient Banquet earned him first place overall at the 14th China Chef Festival;

In both 2005 and 2006, he was honored as one of the Top Ten Chefs of Fujian Province and won theFujian Cuisine Champion;

In 2006, he won First Place Overall in the Hot Dishes Category at the ThirdFujian “Lyujin Cup” CookingSkills Competition;

In 2006, he represented Fujian Province for the first time in the “Manchu-Han Imperial Feast” competition and won the title of Champion for two consecutive rounds;

In 2007, he won the Gold Award at the World Culinary Championship in Singapore;

In 2010, he won the Championship at the World Culinary Competition in Taiwan.
