About 15 chefs in Fuzhou have been awarded the honorary title of "Chinese Culinary Master" by the China Hospitality Association and China Cuisine Association, including Qiang Zhentao, Yao Jianming, Lin Shuidi, Luo Shiwei, Zhuo Minghua, Yang Weihua and Chen Weijie.
About 30 chefs, including Cai Peiming and Lyu Bin, have been awarded the honorary title of "Fujian Cuisine Master" by the Fujian Cuisine Association; More than 70 people have obtained professional qualification certificates of senior technicians in cooking (Chinese/Western cooking, Chinese/Western pastry) from the Fujian Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, including Cheng Qiang, Ruan Yanzhen and Gao Yunshou.
Currently, the representative inheritors of Juchunyuan Fotiaoqiang making skills of the national intangible cultural heritage include the sixth-generation inheritor Yao Xinrui, the seventh-generation inheritor Luo Shiwei and the eighth-generation inheritor Yang Weihua.

Fuzhou's famous chefs Qiang Mugen and Qiang Ququ were awarded the "National Best Chef" at the First National Culinary Competition in 1983. Only 10 people obtained the honor then.
In 1984, at the invitation of the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Qiang Mugen and Qiang Ququ prepared two state banquets in Beijing, one hosted by the Chinese Premier for the Prince Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia and the other hosted by the Chinese President Li Xiannian for the US President Ronald Reagan, which were highly praised by international guests.
In 1990, Juchunyuan “Fotiaoqiang” was awarded the “Jinding Award,” the highest honor in Chinese cuisine.
In 1996, Lin Shuidi (the fifth-generation inheritor of Juchunyuan Fotiaoqiang) was the first Fujian cuisine master to receive the international award French Blue-ribbon Badge. He also won the Jinding Award of the Ministry of Commerce in the same year.
In 1997, Qiang Mugen obtained the “China Skills Award”, becoming the first chef in the country to win this award.
