Recently, the Center of Argo-product Safety and Quality, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced the second batch of the national list of famous, special, high-quality, and new agricultural products for 2024, as well as the list of characteristic agricultural products. A total of 71 products from Fujian Province were included. Four agricultural products from Fuzhou were featured on the national list of famous, special, high-quality, and new agricultural products.

According to the information, the four agricultural products are Fuzhou Jasmine Tea, Baisha Navel Orange, Fuqing Eggs, and Changle Sweet Potato. National famous, special, high-quality, and new agricultural products are those produced in specific regions (typically at the county level), with a certain production scale and commercial volume. These products must have distinct regional characteristics, unique nutritional qualities, stable supply and demand, and strong public recognition and reputation, and are confirmed through expert technical evaluations organized by the Center of Argo-product Safety and Quality, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
