Rising Beyond: “Fujian Cuisine 100” Helps Craft the Perfect Taste of Home
Get ready for a culinary celebration as Fuzhou launches its very own food ranking! The “Fujian Cuisine 100 -- 2024 Mountain and Sea Fujian Cuisine Awards Selection and Award Ceremony & Cangshan District Bamin Food Carnival” (hereinafter referred to as the “Fujian Cuisine 100” event) will officially kick off at Fuzhou Rivercity on December 28. This exciting event comprises three key components: 2024 Mountain and Sea Fujian Cuisine Award Ceremony, 4th Fujian Province Catering Industry Development Conference, and Cangshan District Bamin Food Carnival.
The “Fujian Cuisine 100” event will present three major awards—“Jasmine Restaurant” for authentic Fujian cuisine restaurants, “Banyan Brand” for small-scale restaurant chain, and “Benyang Eatery” for affordable local eateries. The winners will be announced across multiple online and offline platforms. a total of 164 catering brands and businesses have been shortlisted for these awards.
Winners will benefit from a comprehensive promotional package, including media coverage on authoritative platforms, multi-channel livestream marketing, and citywide offline brand campaigns, which will help businesses create viral products, enhance brand visibility, and break new ground.
The “Fujian Cuisine 100” event will establish three major promotional channels: Fuzhou Daily’s “One Bowl of Fuzhou” all-media matrix, Fujiang Restaurant Industry Association (FJRIA), and the Hao Chi Ba (Delicious Bar) platform. Additionally, it will collaborate with local food influencers and culinary enthusiast communities to generate buzz through real-time reporting and tasting promotions.
The organizers will collaborate with three major online platforms—Douyin (Chinese version of TikTok), Meituan (on-demand food delivery service platform), and Dianping (Yelp of China)—to provide shortlisted restaurant brands and businesses with featured placement on app homepages, influencer livestream sales campaigns, and live-streaming traffic support.
A comprehensive offline promotional network will be established throughout Fuzhou, featuring 1,800 Fuzhou Daily digital newsstands, displays on over 4,000 taxi rooftops, more than 600 elevator advertisements, and premium advertising spots at Fuzhou Railway Station and Dongbai Center.
