"Fujian Cuisine 100" Award Ceremony Is Held in the Xindian Ancient City Heritage Park

On December 2, the " Fujian Cuisine 100" selection and award ceremony was held in the Xindian Ancient City Heritage Park. It is not only a grand event of the catering industry in Fuzhou, but also an "Oscar" ceremony in the Fujian cuisine industry.
The "Fujian Cuisine 100" series of activities were designed to build a first-class new Fujian cuisine brand image and establish an authoritative Fujian cuisine certification system. Authorities of the catering industry, gourmet masters, senior media professionals, etc. were gathered at the award ceremony focusing on the new Fujian cuisine culture. At the ceremony, the restaurants which had been deeply engaged in Fujian cuisine and made remarkable achievements obtained corresponding awards, and 5 awards including "Fujian Cuisine 100 · Golden Jasmine Restaurant," "Fujian Cuisine 100 · Golden Banyan Brand" and "Best Ingredients of Fujian Cuisine" were born.
Among them, 17 restaurants, including Juchunyuan Hotel, Fujian Cuisine Banquet Hall of Fujian Cuisine Culture Museum, Meiyuan International Hotel Chinese Restaurant, Xishi Yijing Fujian Cuisine Restaurant, Bamin Xiaoju, Xuanheyuan, won the award "Fujian Cuisine 100 · Golden Jasmine Restaurant;" Seven brands, including Antailou, Chunbaiwei, Xiaojiaotian, Mrs. Zhou and Zuinanquan, won the award "Fujian Cuisine 100 · Golden Banyan Brand;" and Four types of banquets, including Mindu Fu Banquet, Houguan Fu Banquet, Song Yuan Maritime Silk Road Banquet and No. 1 Fresh Banquet in the World won the award "Fujian Cuisine 100 · New Fujian Cuisine Cultural Banquet."

The Carp Islet Resort Fuchun Chinese Restaurant employs a team of state-banquet chefs to make dishes, with the aim to build a reputation of authentic Fujian cuisine in the high-end catering market in Fuzhou. For example, the duck soup with Chinese pholidota herb and sea clam uses the ingredients of duck, Chinese pholidota herb and shellfish. The selected duck should be strong, with fresh, tender and firm meat, which has been free-ranged in the mountain or valley of Minqing for two years, and fed with fish, field snails, rice, etc. It is also added with sea clam from Zhanggang, Changle which makes the soup fresh and mellow.
