Two Fuzhou Restaurants Featured in the 2024 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide to Receive 100,000 Yuan Each
Two renowned restaurants in Fuzhou, Harmony Garden (Huaqiao New Village) and Zheng Chunfa Fotiaoqiang (Sandi Center), have been featured in the 2024 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide and will each receive a one-time reward of 100,000 yuan. The reporter learned from the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce on December 19 that Fuzhou will encourage local restaurants to actively participate in the evaluation of prominent restaurant rating systems like “Michelin,” “Black Pearl,” and “Golden Phoenix Tree,” and will offer corresponding rewards for their inclusion.
According to the Notice on the Application for the 2024 Provincial Business Development Fund for Supporting the New Fujian Cuisine Innovation Projects issued by the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Fuzhou Municipal Bureau of Finance, in order to implement the Three-Year Action Plan of Fujian Province for Accelerating the Innovation and Development of New Fujian Cuisine (2023-2025), Fuzhou will encourage all counties (cities) and districts to actively promote the innovation and development of new Fujian cuisine. This includes the development of “One County, One Table of Dishes,” and promotion of “One Dish, One Product, One Industry” for local pre-made food. Additionally, Fuzhou will encourage catering enterprises to actively participate in the evaluation of prominent restaurant rating systems like “Michelin,” “Black Pearl,” and “Golden Phoenix Tree.”
Fuzhou will support its counties (cities) and districts in actively conducting the promotion of the “One County, One Table of Dishes” initiative. To support these promotional events, a subsidy will be provided to cover related expenses, with a maximum amount of 300,000 yuan per event, not exceeding the actual costs. In principle, the events should be organized by the local Party committee, government, or relevant government departments at the county (city) or district level. The “One County, One Table of Dishes” should feature no fewer than 10 main dishes, with ingredients including but not limited to locally sourced products. A minimum of 10 local businesses should participate in the promotion, and the event venue should span at least 500 square meters. Additionally, the event should be promoted through newspapers, TV channels, or online platforms at the provincial level or higher.
